The Eastside Wildcats wrestling club was founded in 1997 by Louie Martinez & Sergio Martinez, to introduce competitive youth wrestling to the El Paso area. Our initial goal was to make the Wildcats aggressive and in turn be able to compete against Texas ' best. Having done that, we now want our wrestlers to get El Paso high schools back on par with the rest of the state. El Paso enjoyed a lot of success in the 70's and 80's when the high schools won 7 team state championships. In the past 15 years, El Paso has only won 1 team state championship. With dedication, desire, and hard work the Wildcat wrestlers that compete in high school will be well prepared to compete for state championships every year.

 Mission Statement

 Eastside Wildcats wrestling club is interested in teaching young men and women the great sport of wrestling and all the wonderful attributes that go with it. It is our goal for them not only to learn how to be champions on the mat but also how to be a champion the rest of their lives.
